Dr. Anitha Govindraj
Dr. Anitha Govindraj is a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, communication, managerial skills and leadership qualities. She is an agricultural economist with a doctorate degree from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi. She has experience of about seven years in Project Management, Research and Academics. She started her career with the Xavier Institute of Development and Action Studies, Jabalpur and was engaged in teaching and Project Management. She has headed projects in the field of rural livelihood and agricultural finance. She also has experience of independently heading the project funded by FICCI. She has been associated with SFAC, Dept. of Agriculture, GOI in preparing the Baseline survey report along with NABCONS and worked as State Project Co- ordinator of MP heading a team that manages the FPO (Farmer Producer Organisation) Promotion Project of SFAC in Madhya Pradesh.
Before joining this Institute, she was working as the Regional Manager, Synergytechnofin Pvt Ltd, Delhi and was leading the M&E team at the National Level responsible for the M&E exercise for the FPO Project of SFAC across 20 States. She has provided technical guidance and capacity building for the Resource Institutions/ NGOs engaged by SFAC for the formation and management of FPOs working in different districts of Madhya Pradesh.
