Shri Bhagwat Ahirwar
Mr. Bhagwat Ahirwar has been working as a development professional for almost eight years. He is a former Prime Minister’s Rural Development Fellow; where he intensively worked with government at district and state level on various flagship schemes / programs with multiple departments in the area of Capacity Building, e-Governance, Rural Infrastructure, Nutrition, Sanitation, Education, Participatory Planning, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Livelihoods, Climate Change Adaptation and Project Management. He has extensively worked with rural youth, SHGs and their federations to promote climate resilient livelihoods practices and adaptation technologies while leading the Sustainable Livelihoods and Adaptation to Climate Change (SLACC); a World Bank supported project of MP- State Rural Livelihoods Mission.
He has done Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from IIFM, Bhopal and Masters in Development Practices from TISS, Mumbai. He has also done a certified course on ‘Community Based Approaches to Climate Resilience and Adaptation Practices’
