The objective of the scheme is to ensure wage protection and enhance livelihood security for domestic helps in urban arears by providing various welfare provisions to reach each and every domestic help. Domestic workers are critical to the Indian economy. Despite their central role in the economy, domestic workers are often employed in substandard jobs. In this study condition of domestic workers in the state of Madhya Pradesh is analysed.
