Mission

To adopt a citizen centric approach for addressing issues concerning socio-economic development for transformative action in Madhya Pradesh.

CMYPDP aims to strengthen governance and service delivery in the state of Madhya Pradesh by enabling young minds to act as a driving force of change. It seeks to provide talented young professionals with an opportunity to understand administrative functioning through grassroots engagement. Our young professionals get hands-on experience of working closely with local communities to create significant social impact through innovative interventions.

Our mission is to:

• Strengthen public service delivery at the grass-roots with an emphasis on key schemes in the state
• Work towards ‘good governance’ in the state
• Provide the fellows with an enriching learning experience of understanding governance and administration through field immersion, enabling community and stakeholder management, and resolution of social issues

Program Design

The program places its focus on various aspects of governance: rural development, health and nutrition, livelihood, public service delivery, etc. Each cohort of 52 research associates is appointed through a comprehensive recruitment process and is guided by 6 advisors at AIGGPA Bhopal. Each associate is stationed at one district in the state.

At CMYPDP, we look for dynamic professionals dedicated to contributing actively to the community. Our fellows demonstrate competence in stakeholder management, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. They have the ability to lead as well as work well within a team.
