Dr. Rajeev Dixit

	Prof. Rajeev Dixit is a distinguished academician and administrator with over three decades of experience in higher education, research, and academic governance. His career reflects a blend of academic excellence, institutional leadership, and policy innovation. He continues to contribute towards realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through initiatives that integrate Indian Knowledge Systems with modern scientific and technological advancements. His academic contributions lie in the fields of Physical Chemistry, Solid State Chemistry, Heterogeneous Catalysis, Green Chemistry, and Indian Knowledge Systems. He has published extensively in reputed peer-reviewed journals and guided numerous Ph.D. scholars. Under his leadership, advanced research facilities and interdisciplinary laboratories have been established, promoting innovation and academics. As Director, College Development Council, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, Prof. Dixit oversees academic planning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across more than 300 affiliated colleges. Earlier, as Dean of Student Welfare (2010–2014), he played a pivotal role in securing NAAC ‘A’ grade accreditation for the university and strengthening student welfare and co-curricular engagement. Recognizing his expertise, the Government of Madhya Pradesh appointed him Nodal Officer for the establishment of IIT Indore’s Satellite Campus at Ujjain and nominated him to several statutory bodies under the M.P. Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam. Prof. Dixit has also contributed significantly to policy conceptualization and implementation, including drafting the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy and leading the rollout of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 across DAVV-affiliated colleges, ensuring smooth and effective institutional adoption. He has been instrumental in establishing the Deep-Tech Research and Discovery Centre (C-4i-LiFE) at Ujjain and in strengthening academic excellence, accreditation systems, and student-centric processes across higher education institutions in Madhya Pradesh. Prof. Dixit has also expanded DAVV’s global footprint through strategic collaborations with universities in Taiwan and other countries. These partnerships, formalized through multiple MoUs, promote joint research in semiconductors, AI, and bio-mechatronics, along with faculty and student exchange programs. He has further initiated foreign language learning and “Talent Connect” programs to enhance students’ global employability and research exposure.
