Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis

A three-day residential training program series titled ‘She is a Changemaker’ was jointly organized by the National Commission for Women, Government of India, New Delhi, and the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance, Bhopal, aimed at empowering elected women representatives (Sarpanches) of Gram Panchayats in Madhya Pradesh. Around 200 women leaders from five districts—Betul, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Raisen, and Bhopal—participated in the training. The program focused on promoting effective and active leadership among women representatives, addressing challenges they face, enhancing their participation and effectiveness in governance, and building their capacity on various aspects of the Panchayati Raj system.
