This study evaluates the impact of the Hybrid Mustard variety Coral 432 (PAC 432) demonstration scheme, implemented by the Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development in Madhya Pradesh under the RKVY-Raftaar program during 2018-19. The research assesses the scheme's effectiveness in improving beneficiaries' livelihoods and adoption of high-yield mustard varieties. Utilizing a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, the evaluation analyzed primary data from 380 stratified random sample beneficiaries across four districts: Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ashoknagar, and Shivpuri. The findings reveal a significant positive impact on the adoption of Hybrid Mustard, driven by effective awareness programs, resulting in a 65% adoption rate among farmers. Despite challenges in seed availability, beneficiaries—predominantly from OBC backgrounds—experienced enhanced production and income, particularly in the economically advantageous Mandsaur district. The study underscores the imp
